Home News & Updates Aboitiz Economic Estates Launches Talent Edge Hub to Build a Future-Ready Workforce

Batangas, Philippines — Aboitiz Economic Estates today launched the Talent Edge Hub @LIMA Estate, a landmark initiative designed to strengthen the connection between education, industry, and employment, and to ensure that talent grows alongside industry expansion. The Hub underscores the company’s vision that sustainable growth is driven not only by infrastructure, but also by a workforce that is skilled, resilient, and future-ready.

As one of the Philippines’ largest and most advanced industrial-anchored developments, LIMA Estate in Batangas has become home to nearly 200 companies and more than 70,000 employees. It has long been a catalyst for inclusive growth in the region, creating jobs and supporting industries through the Aboitiz Group’s complete ecosystem of solutions in power, water, construction, and digital infrastructure. With the launch of the Talent Edge Hub, LIMA Estate now deepens its role as a driver of human capital development for the country.

The Talent Edge Hub serves as a gateway where careers are shaped, skills are strengthened, and futures are built. Within its walls, applicants can access a centralised talent database, undergo interviews, and connect directly with employers, while training rooms inside the Talent Edge Lab host workshops and courses to develop in-demand skills. By providing a dedicated space for both employers and jobseekers, the Hub helps accelerate hiring, address skills gaps, and strengthen the link between industry needs and workforce capabilities.

Industries thrive best when investment in infrastructure is matched with investment in people. The Talent Edge Hub reflects our commitment to ensure that as industries expand, talent grows alongside them. Here, we are not only preparing people for today’s jobs, but shaping the workforce that will power the industries of tomorrow.

The Talent Edge Hub is a cornerstone of the broader Talent Edge Program, which provides a full ecosystem that supports every stage of workforce development—from learning, to employment, to career growth.

The Talent Edge Hub embodies our shared vision of aligning skills, standards, and opportunities with the needs of industries and addresses one of the most pressing challenges faced by both investors and job seekers—skills mismatch. We look forward to working hand in hand to replicate this model across other ecozones, ensuring that every investment translates into jobs, skills, and brighter futures for our people.
